As\u00ed como una aproximaci\u00f3n a las trayectorias escolares de los gitanos y las gitanas desde la perspectiva de factores de integraci\u00f3n social.  el texto est\u00e1 organizado en dos partes. Una primera nos introduce directamente en la participaci\u00f3n de los gitanos desarrollada en cuatro cap\u00edtulos: el papel de la iglesia cat\u00f3lica, los inicios del movimiento asociativo y su desarrollo, el marco te\u00f3rico de los movimientos milenaristas y el pentecostalismo gitano como proyecto milenarista.  una segunda parte trata de adentrarse en las trayectorias de la poblaci\u00f3n gitana en dos barrios diferentes, un barrrio estigmatizado, como es la mina, y un barrio perif\u00e9rico a la ciudad de sabadell, que es torre romeu. barrios barceloneses con poblaci\u00f3n gitana, donde las cosas que ocurren y los efectos perversos que el tiempo va arrastrando y sedimentando remiten a muchos barrios de catalu\u00f1a y de espa\u00f1a entera. En ambos casos se analiza la situaci\u00f3n gitana desde su llegada, su situaci\u00f3n laboral, la adquisici\u00f3n de la vivienda, su participaci\u00f3n cotidiana y el valor que conceden a la
