Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El presente trabajo se ha basado en el estudio de la prote\u00edna nap1 durante el ciclo celular de la levadura de fisi\u00f3n s.Pombe. Se ha descrito en diversos organismos, tales como s.Cervisiae, d.Melanogaste y x.Laevis, que nap1 es una prote\u00edna chaperona de histonas implicada en la remodelaci\u00f3n de la cromatina. Nuestro estudio ha demostrado que la delecci\u00f3n del gen nap1 provoca un retraso durante la entrada en mitosis debido a la activaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica del checkpoint de replicaci\u00f3n y no de da\u00f1o al dna. Se ha detectado que la activaci\u00f3n de cds1, efector del checkpoint de replicaci\u00f3n, promueve la inactivaci\u00f3n del complejo promotor de la mitosis cdc2\/cicb, provocando as\u00ed un bloque durante la transici\u00f3n g2\/m del ciclo celular. Ensayos de viabilidad han demostrado que la delecci\u00f3n de cds1 en c\u00e9lulas deficientes en nap1 provoca un notable descenso en la viabilidad celular. Este resultado indica que la activaci\u00f3n de cds1 es necesaria en las c\u00e9lulas deficientes en nap1 para reparar los defectos replicativos derivados de la delecci\u00f3n de nap1, evitando as\u00ed la acumulaci\u00f3n de errores que den lugar a una bajada en la viabilidad celular. Nuestro estudio tambi\u00e9n ha demostrado que nap1 se une a la historia h2a in vivo y que participa en la remodelaci\u00f3n de la cromatina in vitro estimulando el proceso de deslizamiento nucleos\u00f3mico.  el estudio de la localizaci\u00f3n subcelular de nap1 es una prote\u00edna nucleocitoplasm\u00e1tica que se encuentra en el n\u00facleo de forma transitoria y se exporta fuera de \u00e9l de forma regulada. As\u00ed, mientras que la localizaci\u00f3n mayoritaria de nap1 es citoplasm\u00e1tica, la delecci\u00f3n de la secuencia nes promueve la retenci\u00f3n de nap1 en el interior del n\u00facleo, lo que indica que la secuencia identificada es funcional y que la localizaci\u00f3n de nap1 no es est\u00e1tica.
