Se emplea el enfoque de la mecanica de fractura elastica lineal para caracterizar la propagacion de las grietas de despegue. Se utiliza el metodo de los elementos de contorno (mec) como herramienta de analisis.  en la implementacion del mec realizada, se han reconsiderado algunos procedimientos habitualmente empleados en este metodo. Se incluye un analisis de la problematica particular de la discretizacion de zonas de contacto curvas, concluyendose que ciertos tipos de elementos son inapropiados en estas situaciones.  se analizan dos configuraciones tipo fibra-matriz: una corresponde a una celda basica del material, y otra reproduce las condiciones de un ensayo experimental del que se disponen resultados. En ambas configuraciones se analiza el posible efecto de las tensiones residuales de curado, y de la friccion entre las caras de grieta.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
