Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo del trabajo consiste en caracterizar los procesos fisicos en interfases membrana-disolucion a traves del estudio del comportamiento electrico de las superficies de filtros microporosos, semejantes en estructura y material pero con densidades de carga propia nulas y positivas. Para abordarlo, se realiza el analisis de los fenomenos electrocineticos, en particular del potencial de flujo, y se estudian los mecanismos de adsorcion de iones sobre una matriz solida inmersa en una disolucion electrolitica.  los procesos electrocineticos se analizan mediante el modelo de poro capilar, y el perfil de potencial en el poro se determina a partir de la ecuacion de poisson-boltzmann. Se describe un metodo numerico para resolverla y a traves de un metodo variacional se extienden los rangos de aplicabilidad de las soluciones analiticas aproximadas.  el proceso de adsorcion, que da cuenta de la densidad superficial de carga, se analiza considerando el modelo de stern para la doble capa electrica. Se describen los distintos mecanismos de adsorcion y, segun se trate de adsorcion homogenea o heterogenea, se estudian las isotermas de langmuir y freundlich, respectivamente.
