El caso del p\u00e1ncreas no es diferente dado el impacto que sobre la biolog\u00eda molecular de esta enfermedad tiene el disbalance de rlo, en especial sobre grupos de oncogenes y genes supresores de tumor.  por otra partes la melatonina es el antioxidante end\u00f3geno mas potente conocido, por lo que cabr\u00eda plantear si la aplicaci\u00f3n del mismo puede modificar la historia natural del c\u00e1ncer de p\u00e1ncreas experimental.  los inhibridores de la cox-2 han demostrado su eficacia en tumores gastrointestinales (es\u00f3fago, est\u00f3mago y colon) de forma experimental y a su vez son usados en la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica.  objetivos.  analizar el papel del estr\u00e9s oxidativo y la acci\u00f3n de la terapia antioxidantes en el c\u00e1ncer de p\u00e1ncreas experimental.  material y metodos.  80 animales (h\u00e1mster sirio) fueron divididos en 8 grupos de animales siendo tratados en diferentes per\u00edodos tanto con melatonina com con celecoxib. la inducci\u00f3n tumoral se realiz\u00f3 con el carcin\u00f3geno bop (n-nitrosobis2oxopropilamina) durante las 12 primeras semanas.
