Este tipo de hidanto\u00ednas son importantes intermedios en la producci\u00f3n industrial de amino\u00e1cidos. el trabajo se ha dividido en dos partes. Por un lado la s\u00edntesis de 3-aril-hidanto\u00ednas y por otro lado la s\u00edntesis y reactividad de 5-metilenhidant\u00ednas. 1\u00aa parte: s\u00edntesis de 5-aril-hidanto\u00ednas. esto se ha llevado a cabo mediante la s\u00edntesis de 5-bromohidanto\u00edna y posterior sustituci\u00f3n con diferentes compuestos arom\u00e1ticos mediante la alquilaci\u00f3n de fiedel-crafts empleando tanto catalizadores homog\u00e9neos como heterog\u00e9neos. 2\u00aa parte: s\u00edntesis y reactividad de 5-metilenhidanto\u00ednas. se ha conseguido la introducci\u00f3n un grupo metileno en posici\u00f3n 5 de la hidanto\u00edna, tanto en hidanto\u00ednas con los nitr\u00f3genos libres como funcionalizados. adem\u00e1s se ha conseguido demostrar la reactividad de las 5-metilenhidanto\u00ednas frente a una gran variedad de reacci\u00f3n de qu\u00edmica org\u00e1nica, obteni\u00e9ndose un gran n\u00famero de derivados hidanto\u00ednicos que podr\u00edan ser precursores, por resoluci\u00f3n
