La determinacion de los elementos estudiados se efectuo mediante etaas.  se optimizaron los parametros de los cuales dependia tanto el proceso de retencion; (ph de retencion, tiempo de contacto, masa de bacteria y volumen de disolucion), como aquellos que intervenian en la determinacion de los diferentes elementos; (concentracion de acido de lavado y tiempo de liberacion metal-bacteria). El mecanismo de retencion mas probable es un proceso de intercambio ionico entre los iones presentes en la disolucion y los grupos funcionales presentes en la membrana de las bacterias.  por ultimo, se hallaron las caracteristicas analiticas en la determinacion de los distintos elementos, empleando las bacterias como separadores\/ concentradores. Los mejores resultados se obtuvieron cuando se trabajo con bacterias liofilizadas en suspension. Posteriormente se validaron los metodos de analisis, utilizando muestras certificadas (nist), encontrandose, con ambas bacterias, valores similares a los certificados para los diferentes elementos
