Especificamente se estudian los filamentos intermedios (neurofilamentos) y las proteinas asociadas a los microtubulos (maps). El analisis se realiza empleando tecnicas de inmunocitoquimica y de western-blot para el reconocimiento de las proteinas citoesqueletales con anticuerpos mono y policionales. Se utilizan tambien cultivos primarios de neuronas crecidas en presencia y ausencia de factores neurotroficos de la familia genica del ngf (nerve growth factor). El estudio demuestra que la expresion de map-2 y map-5 es regulada a lo largo del desarrollo embrionario con un patron temporal especifico para cada una de las isoformas de estas proteinas.  igualmente se demuestra que la neurotrofina 3 es capaz de regular positiva o negativamente la expresion en cultivo de estas proteinas dependiendo de su concentracion. El trabajo traza ademas el patron espacial y temporal de expresion de los tres neurofilamentos de 68, 160, 200 kd de peso molecular. Empleando el neurofilamemto de 160 kd para realizar una descripcion completa de la inervacion auditiva a lo largo del desarrollo embrionario.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
