Esta metodolog\u00eda se basa en:  * la definicion y clasificacion de patrones de dispersion tipicos, combinando para ello el analisis de datos historicos con la realizacion de campa\u00f1as experimentales intensivas; * la optimizacion de la red de sensores para diagnostico, tanto desde el punto de vista de cobertura espacial del campo de concentraciones como de incorporacion de indicadores que expliquen las relaciones causa-efecto, * la prediccion de los valores de concentracion en superficie a corto plazo (horas), para lo que se han ensayado modelos estadisticos multivariantes aplicados a series temporales.  la metodolog\u00eda desarrollada ha sido aplicada a dos casos reales: la central termica \u00abteruel\u00bb y la central termica \u00abpuentes\u00bb y
