En su entorno se realizan varios cultivos: arroz, fresa y cultivos de \u00abnueva agricultura\u00bb. A todo se unen los vertidos al r\u00edo guadiamar de industrias aceiteras o vin\u00edcolas. Otra fuente potencial de contaminaci\u00f3n se sit\u00faa en los polos industriales de huelva. Al n de do\u00f1ana, se encuentran las minas de pirita de aznalc\u00f3llar, cuyos subproductos se almacenaban en una bolsa de st\u00e9riles. En abril de 1998, la balsa de azanlc\u00f3llar liber\u00f3 al os r\u00edos agrio y guadiamar 4 hm3 de agua \u00e1cida y 2hm3 de lodo con metales t\u00f3xicos.     la medici\u00f3n de diversos biomarcadores de contaminaci\u00f3n (enzimas antioxidativas, enzimas biotransformadoras y niveles de glutati\u00f3n) sensibles a metales y compuestos org\u00e1nicos, en dos especies bioindicadoras abundantes y no protegidas: un mam\u00edfero, el rat\u00f3n moruno (mus spretus), y un ave, el gorri\u00f3n com\u00fan (passer domesticus), ha servido para evaluar los efectos biol\u00f3gicos del vertido de aznalc\u00f3llar y evaluar la contaminaci\u00f3n del entorno de do\u00f1ana en ecosistemas terrestres. las nuevas t\u00e9cnicas prote\u00f3micas se han utilizado parala b\u00fasqueda de nuevos biomarcadores de contaminaci\u00f3n espec\u00edficos y sensibles en rat\u00f3n moruno y gorri\u00f3n com\u00fan del entorno de do\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
