Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la primera parte de esta tesis, en su primer cap\u00edtulo, se describe la s\u00edntesis de precursores de glicoamino\u00e1cidos, compuestos que contienen simult\u00e1neamente estructura de amino\u00e1cido y de monosac\u00e1rido, y son de gran inter\u00e9s biol\u00f3gico y farmacol\u00f3gico. Se ha realizado la s\u00edntesis de varios glico-beta-aminoaldeh\u00eddos de 7 y 8 \u00e1tomos de c, con diversas configuraciones, partiendo de c-glicosil n-bencilnitronas o-protegidas de configuraciones d-glacto-, -xilo- y -ribo- que, mediante cicloadici\u00f3n 1,3-dipolar con vinil trimetilsilano, llevan regio- y estereoselectivamente a 3-glico-5-trimetilsilil-isoxazolidinas; los distere\u00f3meros formados en cada caso se separaron, y su configuraci\u00f3n absoluta se determin\u00f3, bien por difracci\u00f3n de rayos x o mediante rmn. Estas isoxazolidinas se transformaron, por tratamiento con cloruro de acetilo, en los respectivos glico-beta-acetamidoaldeh\u00eddos n,o-protegidos, enantiom\u00e9ricamente puros, que son precursores directos de los correspondientes glico-beta-amino\u00e1cidos de cadena alargada (7 y 8 c). Se us\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n la metodolog\u00eda de la cicloadici\u00f3n 1,3-dipolar entre esas mismas glicosil nitronas y otro dipolar\u00f3filo, el acrilato de metilo, como primer paso regio- y esteroselectivo de una ruta sint\u00e9tica hacia hom\u00f3logos e is\u00f3meros de castanospermina, un conocido inhibidor de glicosidasas. Las 3-glico-5-metoxicarbnol-isoxazolidinas obtenidas en la cicloadici\u00f3n se sometieron a apertura del anillo de isoxazolidina por tratamiento con molibdeno hexacarbonilo, lleg\u00e1ndose a gamma-lactamas, cuya reducci\u00f3n a las respectivas pirrolidina, seguida de desprotecci\u00f3n de los hidroxilos de la parte de az\u00facar y, en su caso, del \u00e1tomo de n, llev\u00f3 finalmente a los correspondientes productos de anelaci\u00f3n, derivados de perhidroazaazuleno (partiendo de una c-glicosil nitrona de configuraci\u00f3n d-galacto) o de indolizidina (si se ha partido de nitronas de configuraciones d-xilo \u00f3 d-ribo).
