De <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta tesis engloba en un proyecto de aplicaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas de mejorar a trav\u00e9s de m\u00e9todos biotecnol\u00f3gicos a especies le\u00f1osas. As\u00ed el primer objetivo de este trabajo ha sido el dise\u00f1o de un protocolo de micropropagaci\u00f3n exilar eficaz, fiable y sencillo que permitiese por un lado la clonaci\u00f3n masal de plantas adultas seleccionadas por sus caracter\u00edsticas agron\u00f3micas y, por otro lado, la multiplicaci\u00f3n y regeneraci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas susceptibles de ser transformadas gen\u00e9ticamente.  el segundo de los objetivos ha sido el desarrollo y optimizaci\u00f3n de un protocolo eficiente y sencillo de transformaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica empleando como vector agrobacterium tumefuciens.     espa\u00f1a es el d\u00e9cimo producto de kiwi del mundo, situ\u00e1ndose galicia, con un 49% de la producci\u00f3n a la cabeza de la producci\u00f3n estatal.  uno de los principales problemas del cultivo de kiwi radica en que su producci\u00f3n est\u00e1 basada en un \u00fanico cultivar, hayward. A lo que hay que a\u00f1adir las exigencias edufodim\u00e1ticas y los problemas fitosanitarios.
