Este modelo de propagaci\u00f3n permite predecir mejor el comportamiento f\u00edsico de la propagaci\u00f3n, manteniendo el coste computacional dentro de unos l\u00edmites aceptables.  este nuevo modelo considera que los objetos que interceptan las se\u00f1ales de radiofrecuencia se comportan como nuevas fuentes de la se\u00f1al reflejada. se usa la t\u00e9cnica de radiosidad por refinamiento progresivo para simular los m\u00faltiples trayectos generados por flexiones de la se\u00f1al que desde el emisor hasta el receptor, colisiona con obst\u00e1culos (muros, muebles, etc.)  el proceso de simulaci\u00f3n se detiene cuando la se\u00f1al propagada mediante reflexiones, llega a un nivel que es considerado insignificante. Se utiliza la variante de radiosidad denominada radiosidad por refinamiento progresivo para reducir el coste computacional de los c\u00e1lculos.  la principal aplicaci\u00f3n de este modelo es la predicci\u00f3n de cobertura en redes inal\u00e1mbricas, permitiendo el dise\u00f1o de redes inal\u00e1mbricas partiendo del modelo f\u00edsico del entorno en donde se pretende implantar, sin
