Las prote\u00ednas de la matriz extracelular, a trav\u00e9s de la uni\u00f3n a receptores integrina es uno de los mecanismos m\u00e1s potentes no s\u00f3lo en la producci\u00f3n sino tambi\u00e9n en la activaci\u00f3n de gelatinasas en c\u00e9lulas limfoides t. No obstante, los mecanismos que modulan la producci\u00f3n de mmps a trav\u00e9s de integrinas en los limfocitos no est\u00e1n identificados.     esta tesis se compone principalmente de 3 trabajos en los cuales se estudia la producci\u00f3n de gelatinasas por los limfocitos en diferentes vertientes. Por un lado, describimos los mecanismos de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n mediados por receptores integrina que regulan la producci\u00f3n y secreci\u00f3n de mmps en respuesta a est\u00edmulos del microentorno (prote\u00ednas de la matriz extracelular). Por otro lado, estudiamos las implicaciones fisiopatol\u00f3gicas de estos resultados en un proceso inflamatorio invasivo (arteritis de c\u00e9lulas gigantes) y en un proceso neopl\u00e1sico (trastornos limfoproliferativos). A partir de los resultados obtenidos hemos llegado a las siguientes conclusiones:     1,- la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de integrinas en respuesta a est\u00edmulos del microentorno (concretamente a fibronectina) es un mecanismo muy eficiente para la producci\u00f3n y activaci\u00f3n de gelatinasas (mmp2 y mmp9) y mmp14 por lo limfocitos t y b.     2,- la uni\u00f3n a fibronectina provoca una liberaci\u00f3n post-transcripcional r\u00e1pida de gelatinasas en estas c\u00e9lulas.
