Concretamente, el objetivo es analizar la aceleraci\u00f3n de su hidr\u00f3lisis por medio de la torsi\u00f3n del enlace, por lo que el trabajo se centra en el estudio de la amida torsionada (\u00abtwisted amdies\u00bb). Primeramente, el trabajo introduce las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s importantes del enlace pept\u00eddico y el porqu\u00e9 de ellas, as\u00ed como una explicaci\u00f3n de los objetivos del trabajo y el porqu\u00e9 de su importancia. Tambi\u00e9n el autor resume brevemente las herramientas de la qu\u00edmica cu\u00e1ntica utilizadas a lo largo de la investigaci\u00f3n.     en la segunda parte de la tesis las amidas torsionadas son caracterizadas; primero se cuantifica la estabilizaci\u00f3n por resonancia que se da en las amidas por medio de unos \u00edndices de descolonizaci\u00f3n. esta parte del trabajo es de un gran inter\u00e9s porque relaciona dos conceptos hasta ahora contrapuestos, como son la teor\u00eda \u00abatoms in theory\u00bb el modelo de resonancia. Despu\u00e9s, se determina el valor te\u00f3rico de pka de las amidas torsionadas, concluyendo que la torsi\u00f3n ha modificado la basicida de la amida, incrementado su valor de pka.     en la tercera parte de la tesis se analiza la aceleraci\u00f3n de la hidr\u00f3lisis del enlace am\u00eddico, comparando la superficie del potencial de energ\u00eda (pes) de la amida torsionada con una maida planar similar. El estudio investiga diferentes mecanismos de reacci\u00f3n y la influencia de una mol\u00e9cula de agua auxiliar.  la conclusi\u00f3n m\u00e1s importante es que la torsi\u00f3n acelera la reacci\u00f3n, aunque sea aceleraci\u00f3n depende de varios factores que son analizados detalladamente en esta investigaci\u00f3n. Finalmente, las conclusiones m\u00e1s importantes del trabajo son expuestas, completando un an\u00e1lisis detallado de la consecuencias estructurales y qu\u00edmicas de la
