La qu\u00edmica de coordinaci\u00f3n proporciona una herramienta adecuada para cumplir los objetivos marcados.  los contenidos de la tesis se han distribuido en cuatro cap\u00edtulos diferentes atendiendo a diversos factores que a continuaci\u00f3n se relatan.  en el cap\u00edtulo i se presenta un m\u00e9todo racional para la s\u00edntesis de oxamatocomplejos dinucleares de cobre(ii) de tipo metalaciclofano obtenidos a partir del autoensamblaje de ligandos arom\u00e1ticos oligo_p_fenilenos \u00fa oligoacenos con iones cuii. Ello da lugar a un n\u00facleo central metalac\u00edclico de tipo metalaparaciclofano o metalaacenofano, con una orientaci\u00f3n perpendicular entre los planos basales de los cobres y de los espaciadores arom\u00e1ticos, y con interacciones ?_? entre \u00e9stos \u00faltimos. Estos oxamatocomplejos dinucleares de cobre(ii) son modelos ideales para el estudio del mecanismo de interacci\u00f3n de canje electr\u00f3nico a trav\u00e9s de puentes extendidos. La variaci\u00f3n de la naturaleza del espaciador en estos complejos ha permitido estudiar de forma sistem\u00e1tica la influencia de diferentes factores como la conformaci\u00f3n o la topolog\u00eda del ligando puente en las propiedades magn\u00e9ticas del complejo final. En este cap\u00edtulo se presentan unas bases experimentales acompa\u00f1adas de unas predicciones te\u00f3ricas acerca del acoplamiento magn\u00e9tico a larga distancia a trav\u00e9s de puentes arom\u00e1ticos extendidos ?_conjugados en complejos dinucleares de cobre(ii) de tipo metalaciclofano.  en el cap\u00edtulo ii se han sintetizado dos nuevas series de complejos oligonucleares (di_ y trinucleares) metalosupramoleculares meso_helicatos de doble y triple hebra partir del autoensamblaje de ligandos lineales oligooxalamidas polit\u00f3picos (di_ y trit\u00f3picos) mediante iones
