Estas directrices se dividen en dos grupos, seg\u00fan conduzcan a microestructuras de granos equiaxiados o a microestructuras de granos alargados. La gran ventaja de la miroestructuras de granos alargados es que permiten optimizar simult\u00e1neamente la resistencia al desgaste y la tenacidad de los materiales, superando as\u00ed una limitaci\u00f3n ampliamente aceptada por la comunidad cient\u00edfica.
