Tambi\u00e9n se determin\u00f3 la vida \u00fatil de muestras de esta carne almacenada en tres tipos de atm\u00f3sferas modificadas (vac\u00edo, 100% co2 y mezcla comercial compuesta por 35% co2:35% o2:30% n2) y cuando se almacenaba a refrigeraci\u00f3n en condiciones de aerobiosis. Por otro lado, se investig\u00f3 la preValencia de diferentes bacterias pat\u00f3genas (salmonella spp., Escherichia coli o157:h7, yersinia enterocolitica, listeria monocytogenes, aeromonas m\u00f3viles y staphylococcus aureus) en carne de conejo. Finalmente, se estudi\u00f3 el efecto de diferentes tecnolog\u00edas de conservaci\u00f3n de alimentos sobre microorganismos de inter\u00e9s en la carne de conejo: (1) tratamientos mediante radiaciones ionizantes aplicados sobre carne est\u00e9ril de conejo inoculada con psychrobacter y varios cultivos de bacterias alterantes, y (2) tres tratamientos diferentes (t\u00e9rmicos, mediante ultrasonidos con presiones hidrost\u00e1ticas y  mediante pulsos el\u00e9ctricos de alto voltaje) aplicados sobre cepas de staphylococcus aureus.  las muestras de carne de conejo pose\u00edan bajos niveles de microorganismos indicadores pero n\u00fameros relativamente altos de recuentos totales. El envasado en 100 % co2, empleando una mezcla 35:35:30 (co2:o2:n2) y a vac\u00edo increment\u00f3 la vida \u00fatil de la carne de conejo almacenada a refrigeraci\u00f3n (3 1 \u00c2\u00bac), no apreci\u00e1ndose cambios organol\u00e9pticos significativos hasta las 5, 2-2.5 y 2-3 semanas, respectivamente. Esta vida \u00fatil es considerablemente superior a los 6.8 d\u00edas que presentaba la carne mantenida en aerobiosis a la misma temperatura. Como ocurre con otras carnes dfd, las canales de conejo dfd estudiadas se alteraron m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidamente que las canales normales. nuestros resultados, y tambi\u00e9n los de otros investigadores,
