Es activo in vitro, a concentraciones de 100 \u00c2\u00b5g\/ml, frente a la bacteria fitopat\u00f3gena ralstonia solanacearum, describi\u00e9ndose  por primera vez la actividad antimicrobiana de esta prote\u00edna ante una bacteria fitopat\u00f3gena. la presencia de este inhibidor (an-pinii) en tejidos de la pared celular de tub\u00e9rculos de patata, desempe\u00f1a un papel importante en la formaci\u00f3n de barreras de defensa contra el ataque de pat\u00f3genos bacterianos como r. solanacearum. Estos resultados permitir\u00e1n abordar estudios de expresi\u00f3n in planta a objeto de corroborar los resultados obtenidos con este inhibidor.  otro estudio fue el an\u00e1lisis de diversos genes implicados en funciones de mdr de la bacteria fitopat\u00f3gena erwinia chrysanthemi. Los resultados m\u00e1s importantes fueron: se seleccionaron 9 genes hom\u00f3logos a sistemas mdrs de entre varios identificados en el genoma de la bacteria. Fueron seleccionados por m\u00e9todos bioinform\u00e1ticos dos sistemas con similitud a una  bomba de transporte acr (familia rnd), dos sistemas similares a la bomba emr (familia mfs) y otro candidato (mlr) perteneciente a la familia mfs. Se clonaron y se construyeron los mutantes correspondientes en e. Chrysanthemi, para estudiar el efecto en patogenicidad de dichas mutaciones.  Los ensayos de virulencia fueron llevados a cabo sobre hojas de violeta africana (saintpaulia ionantha)  y hojas de endivia (cichorium intybus l. Var. Foliosum). Los mutantes presentaron diferentes  niveles de susceptibilidad a sustancias t\u00f3xicas, as\u00ed como, diferentes grados de virulencia dependiendo del hospedad<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
