En tal sentido, este trabajo aspira a o ce\u00f1irse a una investigaci\u00f3n sobre la figura de fray hernando de talavera. Se trata, al mismo tiempo, de enmarcar su trayectoria dentro del an\u00e1lisis y reflexi\u00f3n sobre el mundo en que vivi\u00f3, estudio y actu\u00f3 el personaje en cuesti\u00f3n. Mediante la historia cultural resulta posible dibujar este conjunto, es posible percibir la peculiaridad e inter\u00e9s de la figura de hernando de talavera, confesor y consejero de los reyes cat\u00f3licos. Los elementos que se dieron cita en su periplo formativo, que fueron moldeando su pensamiento, nos introducen en el tr\u00e1nsito de una cultura articulada en torno a modelos socio-culturales \u00abmedievales\u00bb hacia otra en que ser\u00e1n predominantes los nuevos m\u00e9todos e intereses humanistas y, m\u00e1s en general, modernos. la reconstrucci\u00f3n de la multiplicidad cultural del siglo xv nos permite no s\u00f3lo obtener \u00fatiles instrumentos de an\u00e1lisis para comprender las din\u00e1micas de su transformaci\u00f3n geopol\u00edtica, sino tambi\u00e9n de la misma forma de concebir al ser humano en calidad de individuo y sujeto socio-pol\u00edtico-religioso del quehacer de la sociedad. De hecho, durante esta \u00e9poca cambi\u00f3 la percepci\u00f3n, tanto en el \u00e1mbito religioso como en el pol\u00edtico, sobre el ejercicio del poder y el control de la poblaci\u00f3n, algo que, sobre todo en \u00e1mbito hisp\u00e1nico, tuvo fuertes consecuencias en el siglo xvi con repercusiones trascendentales para el conjunto de la sociedad europea y
