He realizado un seguimiento de cada uno de los ordenes sociales -clerigos, caballeros, campesinos y marginados- y el tratamiento que se les dio a traves de las imagenes. En todos ellos he constatado una relacion entre la imagen y la teoria de la funcionalidad, esto es, el cometido especifico que la iglesia marco para cada uno de ellos. He prestado atencion al proceso de secularizacion y las consecuencias que esto tuvo en el desarrollo de la iconografia.
