Esta materia no ha sido observada directamente y s\u00f3lo se ha podido deducir a partir de sus efectos gravitatorios.  las evidencias observacionales muestran que la materia oscura representa el 27% de toda la masa del universo, en comparaci\u00f3n con solo el 3% de materia visible u observable. El resto, de acuerdo con los modelos cosmol\u00f3gicos actuales, consiste en energ\u00eda y materia oscuras.  en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han propuesto diversos candidatos para formar parte de esta materia oscura. En la actualidad se especula con alg\u00fan tipo de part\u00edcula pesada que hubiera sobrevivido a la \u00abgran explosi\u00f3n\u00bb, es decir, que fuera lo suficientemente estable como para no haberse desintegrado hasta ahora. De las part\u00edculas conocidas, no hay ninguna que cumpla estos requisitos. Sin embargo, en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, se han desarrollado nuevas teor\u00edas de f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas, las llamadas teor\u00edas supersim\u00e9tricas, que adem\u00e1s de explicar de manera unificada la naturaleza y las caracter\u00edsticas de todas las part\u00edculas conocidas y ajustarse a los resultados experimentales obtenidos en los grandes aceleradores de part\u00edculas, predicen la existencia de un nuevo tipo de part\u00edculas de entre las cuales hay una que podr\u00eda ser una candidata muy plausible: el \u00abneutralino\u00bb (distinta del \u00abneutrino\u00bb, part\u00edcula que tambi\u00e9n ha sido candidata a materia oscura). Por ahora, no hay ninguna evidencia experimental directa de la existencia de estas nuevas part\u00edculas pero la teor\u00eda predice que podr\u00e1n detectarse en el large hadron collider (lhc), el gran acelerador de protones que se esta construyendo en el cern, en ginebra, y que empezar\u00e1 a operar en el 2007.  las teor\u00edas supersim\u00e9tricas predicen tambi\u00e9n que, en altas concentraciones, los neutralinos pueden interaccionar ent<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Observations of gamma-rays from the galactic center with the magic telescope &#8211;
