A lo largo del trabajo se ha evaluado la conformidad en estado semis\u00f3lido de las aleaciones de fundici\u00f3n a356 y a357, las aleaciones fundici\u00f3n de segunda fusi\u00f3n del tipo 380, y aleaciones de forja de la serie 7000.  una parte importante de la investigaci\u00f3n se ha centrado en el an\u00e1lisis de las propiedades termodin\u00e1micas de las aleaciones mencionadas, con objeto de predecir, desde un punto de vista te\u00f3rico, la conformabilidad en estado semis\u00f3lido de las mismas. En base a este an\u00e1lisis se han planteado modificaciones a introducir en la composici\u00f3n de las aleaciones con objeto de mejorar su conformabilidad.  la otra parte del trabajo ha consistido en el conformado de varias aleaciones de aluminio mediante la tecnolog\u00eda de forjado en estado semis\u00f3lido, para lo cual ha sido necesario poner a punto, y en algunos casos dise\u00f1ar y fabricar, todo el equipamiento necesario.
