Como variable dependiente se utiliz\u00f3 el porcentaje de errores. Los resultados demuestran que aunque la escritura de palabras con ortograf\u00eda arbitraria mejora seg\u00fan avanzan los cursos esta nunca llega a ser perfecta. Se desconocen muchas reglas ortogr\u00e1ficas al finalizar la escolarizaci\u00f3n. En cuanto a la relaci\u00f3n error-frecuencia el n\u00famero de errores en palabras infrecuentes es mayor que en las frecuentes y en todas mayor a edad temprana.     en vista de los resultados encontrados se dise\u00f1a un estudio experimental con el objetivo de, determinar qu\u00e9 m\u00e9todo de instrucci\u00f3n garantiza la mayor adquisici\u00f3n de la escritura correcta de palabras castellanas de ortograf\u00eda arbitraria en ni\u00f1os de educaci\u00f3n primaria. Con dicho objetivo se probaron, en tres centros p\u00fablicos de bilbao en los grupos de ni\u00f1os de 3\u00c2\u00ba y 5\u00c2\u00ba de primaria cuatro m\u00e9todos de instrucci\u00f3n: copia, correcci\u00f3n de errores, lectura y entrenamiento en memoria visual. El rendimiento de los cuatro m\u00e9todos de instrucci\u00f3n se compar\u00f3 con el del grupo control que realiz\u00f3 un dictado.      los resultados muestran la eficacia del m\u00e9todo de correcci\u00f3n de errores para la ense\u00f1anza de la ortograf\u00eda de palabras de ortograf\u00eda arbitraria.
