<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objeto del presente trabajo ha sido el desarrollo y optimizaci\u00f3n de metodos de analisis y caracterizaci\u00f3n de p\u00e9ptidos y hormonas pept\u00eddicas por cromatograf\u00eda l\u00edquida de alta resoluci\u00f3n (hplc) y cromatograf\u00eda liquida acoplada a la espectrometria de masas con fuente de ionizaci\u00f3n por electrospray (hplc\/es-ms).  para tal finalidad, ha sido un objetivo concreto de nuestro trabajo el establecimiento de m\u00e9todos de optimizaci\u00f3n, de la composici\u00f3n y ph de la fase m\u00f3vil a utilizar, para la separaci\u00f3n y determinaci\u00f3n de hormonas p\u00e9ptidicas por hplc, basandonos en el m\u00e9todo de comparacion solvatocr\u00f3mico y en medidas correctas de ph en las mezclas hidroorganicas utilizadas como fase movil. asimismo, la medida correcta del ph en estos medios nos ha permitido la determinaci\u00f3n de los valores de pka de las sustancias pept\u00eddicas estudiadas en medios hidroorg\u00e1nicos, valores que pueden ser de gran ayuda a la hora de interpretar el comportamiento cromatogr\u00e1fico de las sustancias.  finalmente, ha constituido otro objetivo concreto de nuestro trabajo, la aplicaci\u00f3n de los metodos de prediccion del comportamiento cromatografico de las sustancias pept\u00eddicas estudiadas a otros p\u00e9ptidos y hormonas pept\u00eddicas, tratando de reducir considerablemente el n\u00famero de datos experimentales necesarios para establecer metodos de separacion y caracterizacion de principios activos peptidicos, tanto por hplc-uv como
