(Diferencia de convexas) para la obtenci\u00f3n de \u00f3ptimos globales en problemas de localizaci\u00f3n continua.  el capitulo i trata la aplicaci\u00f3n a problemas de optimizacion d.C. De una algoritmo de cubrimiento, que permite obtener una soluci\u00f3n epsilon-\u00f3ptima incluso en el caso multidimensional. Se prueba que el algoritmo de breiman y cutler(1993), y la generalizaci\u00f3n debido a baritompa y cutler(1994), son casos particulares del m\u00e9todo de cubrimiento propuesto. La experiencia computacional revela que este algoritmo mejora a los anteriormente existentes, como caso particular, se aplica esta t\u00e9cnica al problema de la estimaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1xima verosimilitud en la distribuci\u00f3n de cauchy uniparam\u00e9trica.  el cap\u00edtulo ii est\u00e1 dedicado a la localizaci\u00f3n de servicios con caracter\u00edsticas atractivas y repulsivas. En primer lugar se estudia un modelo de localizaci\u00f3n con regiones prohibidas, con una  funci\u00f3n objetivo de car\u00e1cter muy general que engloba a los criterios cl\u00e1sicos. En el segundo modelo que se propone, se aborda el problema desde un punto de vista bicriterio. La ubicaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima en ambos casos se obtiene mediante la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas d.C. unidimensionales.  en el capitulo iii se trata la localizaci\u00f3n de un servicio semi-repulsivo fuera de una red de transporte. Tras realizar un estudio sobre la existencia y localizaci\u00f3n de soluciones, se estudia el modelo con regi\u00f3n factible poligonal y distancia eucl\u00eddea sobre el plano; la obtenci\u00f3n de una soluci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima se reduce a la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas d.C.
