El emplazamiento del granito en esta zona de cizalla permite datar el periodo de funcionamiento de la misma (al menos 30 ma), ya que esta ha sido activa con anterioridad al emplazamiento del cuerpo granitico, deformando la masa granitica durante su emplazamiento (ca 320 ma) y tras su consolidacion y enfriamiento (ca 290 ma).  mineralogicamente esta compuesto por cuarzo, feldespato, biotita, moscovita y plagioclasa (albita, oligoclasa).  como minerales accesorios destacan la presencia de circon, monacita e ilmenita y, en menor proporcion turmalina. En los diques y bolsadas apliticos destaca la presencia de granate rico en molecula de espesartina.  las relaciones texturales y la composicion mineralogica han permitido calcular aproximadamente las condiciones de emplazamiento del granito, indicando cristalizacion en condiciones de subsaturacion en agua a unos 3.5-4 kbar de presion y temperaturas de emplazamiento del orden de 600-650 grados centigrados.  los modelos petrogeneticos basados en la composicion quimica del granito indican: (i) bajas tasas de cristalizacion fraccionada de fesdelpado potasico, plagioclasa, biotita y monacita, y (ii) elevadas tasas de fusion parcial ( 50%) de materiales de composicion grauvaquica. Los materiales regionales que presentan caracteristicas quimico-mineralogicas mas propicias para constituir la fuente corresponden a la formacion ollo de sapo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
