Gallica excreta lacasa, se ha clonado, secuenciado y obtenido el correspondiente adnc de un gen para la casa. Se han realizado los estudios correspondientes a la regulaci\u00f3n de la transcripci\u00f3n de este gen, encontrandose que responde a fuente de carbono y a compuestos flav\u00ednicos. una vez estudiados los mecanismos de regulaci\u00f3n de la transcripci\u00f3n se han llevado a cabo experimentos con efluentes industriales, producidos en el proceso de obtenci\u00f3n de pulpa de papel, obteni\u00e9ndose excelentes resultados en terminos de porcentaje de decoloraci\u00f3n de los efluentes tratados con este hongo, correlacion\u00e1ndose la perdida de color con la actividad lacasa extracelular.  se han realizado las aproximaciones moleculares en lo que respecta a expresi\u00f3n de proteinas recombinantes en un hongo filamentoso,por otra parte se han iniciado los trabajos que
