Al escribir el cor\u00e1n en\/c\u00fafiro, \u00e9ste se convirti\u00f3 en la escritura sacra del isl\u00e1m.  el c\u00fafico en al-andalus fue un ornamento utilizado como elemento decorativo complementario de la arquitectura musulmana, ya que el c\u00fafico por sus caracteres geom\u00e9tricos, lineales y angulosos ofrec\u00eda una extraordinaria realizaci\u00f3n est\u00e9tica en todos los materiales, adem\u00e1s de su \/ significado evidente. repet\u00edan el dise\u00f1o miles de veces en su deseo de \/ perfecci\u00f3n, cosa que ayud\u00f3 a la mejor realizaci\u00f3n de sus formas, convierti\u00e9ndose en verdaderos ideogramas de car\u00e1cter religioso y m\u00edstico.  la evoluci\u00f3n de la escritura c\u00fafica andalus\u00ed dio lugar a la aparici\u00f3n \/ de varios estilos: antiguo, florido, simple, magref\u00ed, entrelazado y geom\u00e9trico puro. Fue en andaluc\u00eda donde lleg\u00f3 a su m\u00e1ximo esplendor, sobre todo en la \u00e9poca nazar\u00ed, buen ejemplo de ello es el palacio de la  \/ al-hambra, en el que en perfecta armon\u00eda
