El trabajo puede encuadrarse dentro del dominio de las t\u00e9cnicas de realidad virtual. Para ello se realiza en primer lugar un estudio de c\u00f3mo el ser humano percibe el movimiento y de qu\u00e9 modelos matem\u00e1ticos se pueden utilizar para representar la percepci\u00f3n humana del movimiento. En segundo lugar se presentan, analizan e implementan distintos modelos de comportamiento din\u00e1mico de veh\u00edculos. Las siguiente parte presenta el estado del arte de los simuladores de conducci\u00f3n actuales y desarrolla completamente una l\u00f3gica de movimiento para la plataforma de los simuladores. posteriormente se analizan las plataformas que se utilizan en los simuladores actuales (plataforma de stewart) y se propone una nueva arquitectura, la plataforma esf\u00e9rica. a continuaci\u00f3n se desarrollan completamente varios casos de simulaci\u00f3n, comparando la fidelidad en la percepci\u00f3n de movimiento que puede obtenerse con un simulador equipado con la plataforma cl\u00e1sica frente a la nueva plataforma propuesta. La ultima parte de la tesis presenta las conclusiones generales obtenidas, las contribuciones originales de la tesis as\u00ed como las futuras l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n que se
