la biodiversidad procariotica de dos ambientes acu\u00e1ticos muy distintos, principalmente mediante t\u00e9cnicas moleculares.  la evaluaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad en el ambiente marino se ha centrado en el estudio de dos tipos de comunidades microbianas: las de vida libre o pel\u00e1gicas y las que viven adheridas a otras part\u00edculas y\/o fomando agregados. las t\u00e9cnicas empleadas han sido las siguientes: ardra, determinaci\u00f3n de los principales grupos filogen\u00e9ticos mediante clonado y secuenciaci\u00f3n de genes 16s, dna, cuantificaci\u00f3n mediante &#8212; con sondas espec\u00edficas y &#8212; electr\u00f3nica.Tambi\u00e9n  se han estudiado de esta forma las llamadas ultra&#8211; marinas.  en paralelo se realiz\u00f3 un estudio de similares caracter\u00edsticas en
