Se forman con estructura tipo bicapa, como la fase laminar, la y la fase esponja, l3. Estas fases se han caracterizado con las tecnicas de microscop\u00eda optica con polarizadores cruzados, microscopia electronica (ff-tem), difusi\u00f3n de neutrones a peque\u00f1o angulo(sans) y reolog\u00eda. Esta \u00faltima ha resultado muy util para diferenciar la topolog\u00eda de la bicapa laminar, que cambia al aumentar la concentraci\u00f3n del alcohol de vesiculas (la1)a bicapas abiertas y apiladas(lah). Se ha detectado la formaci\u00f3n de ves\u00edculas inducidas por la fuerza inducidas por la fuerza de cizalla a contenidos de alcohol intermedios.  si al sistema anterior se le adiciona el tensioactivo cationico cpyc1, las fases lah y l3 se desestabilizan y se forman una extensa regi\u00f3n de micelas directas. El proceso de formaci\u00f3n de dichas micelas se ha explicado con un nuevo modelo termodin\u00e1mico desarrollado en el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n. las micelas son peque\u00f1as y esfericas a contenidos de tensioactivo cati\u00f3nico superiores a 8 mm y son micelas muy grandes y flexibles en el otro l\u00edmite de la regi\u00f3n micelar con menor contenido de
