Sin embargo, los machos que resultan de retrocruzamientos hacia d.Buzzatii son freceuntemente inviables, aparentemente a causa de incompatibilidades gen\u00e9ticas interespec\u00edficas que son cr\u00edpticas en la f1. Mediante la observaci\u00f3n del patr\u00f3n de asinapsis de los cromosomas polit\u00e9nicos (apareamiento incompleto, que marca las regiones introgresadas) y an\u00e1lisis de segregaciones, se ha localizado un factor de inviabilidad h\u00edbrida, denominado hmi-1, en el intervalo citol\u00f3gico xa2a-a2c de d.Koepferae. As\u00edmismo se ha encontrado que la inviabilidad provocada por la introgresi\u00f3n de hmi-1 es suprimida por la cointegresi\u00f3n de un factor autos\u00f3mico, situado en 4dl-d5. El efecto de hmi-1, por otra parte, depende del fondo gen\u00e9tico de d.Buzzatii. Utilizando modelos de cadenas de markov, se ha podido estimar el n\u00c2\u00ba y modo de acci\u00f3n de los genes supresores polim\u00f3rficos en d.Buzzatii. La construcci\u00f3n de una microgenoteca mediante microdisecci\u00f3n y clonaci\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n cromos\u00f3mica de hmi-1 indica el an\u00e1lisis molecular del
