En esas circunstancias, el establecimiento de correspondencias entre los puntos de dos rectas epipolares se identifica con el problema de determianr la subsecuencia com\u00fan m\u00e1s larga de dos cadenas. este problema, muy conocido dentro del mundo de la biolog\u00eda molecxular es resuelto de forma eficiente mediante la a plicaci\u00f3n del algoritmo viterbi.  del an\u00e1lisis del algoritmo, se concluye que el punto clave es la forma que adopte la funci\u00f3n que mida la similitud entre cadenas y el coste asociado a las zonas que no son comunes a ambas im\u00e1genes o zonas ocultas. Por ello se propnenen tres psoibles funciones de coste.  para comprbar la validez de los m\u00e9todos porpuestos, se ha realizado un extenso an\u00e1lisis experimetnal que permita comparar de forma cuantificable los resultados obtenidos.
