Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que este modelo deformable:  * es m\u00e1s rapido y sencillo que otros modelos basados en la t\u00e9cnica de elementos finitos, dentro del cual se encontrar\u00eda en marcado el algoritmo aqu\u00ed desarrollado.  * es m\u00e1s robusto y la discretizaci\u00f3n del objeto el\u00e1stico es mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de realizar que la de los modelos deformables basados en otros grupos de t\u00e9cnicas, tales como los sitemas \u00abpunto-muelle\u00bb y los que utilizan la f\u00edsica de las splines.  * la deformaci\u00f3n de los objetos el\u00e1sticos con \u00e9l modelizados es muy realista. Siendo capaz de simular con gran exactitud el comportamiento de objetos el\u00e1sticos s\u00f3lidos reales.  todo esto, unido a que el modelo bem es f\u00e1cilmente paralelizable y que dicha versi\u00f3n paralela presenta una reducci\u00f3n del coste cuasi lineal respecto al n\u00famero de procesadores disponibles, lo convierten en un modelo ideal para los entornos virtuales de
