r\u00f3tores flexibles tiene un amplio campo de aplicaci\u00f3n industrial en equipos tales como turbinas hidr\u00e1ulicas, turbobombas, compresores centr\u00edfugos, turbinas a gas y especialmente en turbogeneradores el\u00e9ctricos.  la esbeltez de estos \u00faltimos es tal que se producen deformaciones apreciables por su propio peso, lo que obliga entre otras cosas a un laborioso proceso de puesta en marcha tras cada parada, sustituyendo en lo posible estas paradas por un giro a baja velocidad.  aspectos tales como el acoplamiento de la vibraciones de flexi\u00f3n y torsi\u00f3n, el acoplamiento entre vibraciones mec\u00e1nicas y electricas, las deformaciones por efectos t\u00e9rmicos y la influencia de la rigidez de los apoyos hacen que la modelizaci\u00f3n de estos rotores sea extraordinariamente compleja. los potentes m\u00e9todos de c\u00e1lculo actualmente existentes son un apoyo importante para el estudio, pero no eliminan la necesidad de planteamientos conceptuales rigurosos.  desde el punto de vista industrial el interes prioritario se concreta en la busqueda de una herramienta analitica que contrastada con la experiencia reduzca el tiempo de equilibrado y
