El trabajo desarrollado est\u00e1 basado en el an\u00e1lisis multi-resoluci\u00f3n en el que la se\u00f1al a analizar se descompone consecutivamente en se\u00f1ales de aproximaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s se\u00f1ales de detalle.  la hip\u00f3tesis de partida es que, sinutilizar las relaciones de jararqu\u00eda inherentes a las descomposiciones multi-resoluci\u00f3n, y con un esquema sin artificios como una variaci\u00f3n sobre el \u00abrun-lergth\u00bb se pueden obtener resultados tan buenos o mejores que los obtenidos con los mejores algoritmos publicados.  la investigaci\u00f3n ha estado dirigida a los tres bloques b\u00e1sicos de un codificador transformado.
