La incorporaci\u00f3n de estas especies permiten obtener fases activas de membranas, utilizadas en procesos de separaci\u00f3n i\u00f3nica, as\u00ed como recubrimientos sobre electrodos s\u00f3lidos para construir sensores electroqu\u00edmicos selectivos a iones y mol\u00e9culas.  se aplica las espectroscopia de impedancia electroqu\u00edmica (eis) para estudiar los mecanismos de funcionamiento de los sensores y los resultados obtendios con esta t\u00e9cncia, en conjunci\u00f3n con otras t\u00e9cncias electroqu\u00edmicas como la cronopotenciometr\u00eda y la cronoamperiometr\u00eda, muestran que, dependiendo del i\u00f3foro o de la enzima incorporados estos materiales act\u00faan como membranas de separaci\u00f3n y sensores altamente selectivos a iones alcalinos o como
