Estas c\u00e9lulas presentan gran cantidad de receptores para el factor de crecimiento epid\u00e9rmico (egf) y para el factor transformante del crecimiento beta1 (tgf-beta1), pero carecen de receptores para el estradiol (e2).  se ha estudiado el crecimiento de esta l\u00ednea celular, en cultivos de 42 horas y de 11 d\u00edas, bajo el est\u00edmulo del egf, tgf-beta1 y e2, comprobando un efecto inhibitorio en los tres casos, en funci\u00f3n del tiempo de exposici\u00f3n al factor. Se ha comprobado, por primera vez, que estas c\u00e9lulas son capaces de secretar al medio de cultivos egf y tgf-beta1 inmunoreactivos y que adem\u00e1s pueden cuantificarse utilizando procedimientos de concentraci\u00f3n del medio (liofilizaci\u00f3n) e inmunoan\u00e1lisis. El egf inhibi\u00f3 la secreci\u00f3n de tgf-beta1 en todos los experimentos realizados,mientras que el tgf-beta1 activ\u00f3 o inhibi\u00f3 la secreci\u00f3n de egf en funci\u00f3n de las condiciones experimentales. se demuestra por primera vez a nivel de secreci\u00f3n proteica una doble regulaci\u00f3n entre estos dos factores (egf y tgf-beta1), hasta ahora nunca estudiada en ning\u00fan tipo de c\u00e9lulas.
