investigaci\u00f3n es la evaluaci\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica del programa educativo \u00abpreescolar na casa\u00bb (1977-1997), para identificar, obtener y proporcionar informaci\u00f3n \u00fatil y veraz acerca del valor o m\u00e9rito de los objetivos, la planificaci\u00f3n, la realizaci\u00f3n y los efectos de este programa educativo.  una vez presentado el marco te\u00f3rico en el que se abordan los modelos de evaluaci\u00f3n de programas, la cuesti\u00f3n de la calidad en educaci\u00f3n, el concepto de educaci\u00f3n infantil, se hace una descripci\u00f3n del programa objeto de estudio, y se dise\u00f1a un estudio emp\u00edrico para valorar la calidad de preescolar na casa.  la informaci\u00f3n acerca de cada uno de los segmentos del programa se obtiene utilizando distintas t\u00e9cnicas e instrumentos: an\u00e1lisis del contenido de la documentaci\u00f3n del programa, entrevistas en profundidad, administraci\u00f3n de cuestionarios a los profesionales y madres que participan en el programa, a maestras de educaci\u00f3n infantil, etc.  las conclusiones hacen referencia a la identificaci\u00f3n de las necesidades de la poblaci\u00f3n destinataria del programa, al dise\u00f1o de sus materiales y actividades, a la calidad de los procesos de formaci\u00f3n de los orientadores, las madres y los ni\u00f1os, y a la calidad de los resultados en lo que se refiere al desarrollo de las capacidades (motrices, cognitivo-lingu\u00edsticas, de equilibrio personal, y de relaci\u00f3n social), especialmente a la adaptaci\u00f3n escolar de los ni\u00f1os que han participado en las actividades de este programa, compar\u00e1ndolos con otros grupos de ni\u00f1os; tambi\u00e9n se contempla el impacto del programa en las comunidades.  en los anexos, adem\u00e1s de figurar la
