Ello se ha llevado a cabo en los diferentes compartimientos identificados en el mediomarino: capa atmosf\u00e9rica cerca de la superficie del mar, columna de agua y sedimentos del fondo. Se ha determinado el flujo atmosf\u00e9rico anual de 210pb (81,2+1,4bq.M2a-1) en un tapete microbiano del delta del ebro. juntamente con los resultados de concentraciones de 210pb, 210po y 226ra en el agua y su nivel de asociaci\u00f3n a las part\u00edculas en suspensi\u00f3n se han calculado los tiempos de residencia de los diferentes elementos y de las part\u00edcuals en la columna de agua. Se ha puesto de manifiesto que, adem\u00e1s de la posible influencia de un flujo atmosf\u00e9rico de 210 po m\u00e1s elevado de lo habitual, presencia de afloramientos y episodios de descargas de los r\u00edos, hay que contar, b\u00e1sicamente, con los procesos de reciclaje del 210po por parte del plancton.  asimismo, la presencia de diferentes masas de agua en la zona provocada variaciones importantes en cuanto a la distribuci\u00f3n de estos elementos. del estudio de las concentraciones de 210pb y de 137cs en material particulado recogido mediante trampas de sedimento en los m\u00e1rgenes continentales de barcelona y baleares se ha deducido la importancia de los procesos de resuspensi\u00f3n y posterior transporte de material de la plataforma continental y de la parte superior del talud. Esta exportaci\u00f3n de material es especialmente relevante en las zonas ocupadas por ca\u00f1ones submarinos, los cuales actu\u00e1n como conducto eficiente del material.
