Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo hemos estudiado la regulaci\u00f3n transcripcional del gen del enzima m\u00e1lico citos\u00f3lico (me) por la insulina, en la l\u00ednea celular de hepatoma de rata h-35. Mediante ensayos de transfecci\u00f3n transitoria hemos localizado la regi\u00f3n de respuesta a la hormona entre las posiciones 177 y 102 del promotor.  esta zona contiene un posible elemento de respuesta a la insulina (ire-ii). por ensayos de retardo en gel hemos demostrado que sp1 y sp3 se unen a esta secuencia de manera constitutiva. El tratamiento con insulina induce la uni\u00f3n, r\u00e1pida y transitoria, del factor de respeusta temprano egr-1 que desplaza a sp1 de su sitio de uni\u00f3n al adn.  la inducci\u00f3n de egr-1 depende de la estimualci\u00f3n de la ruta de ras\/map quinasa e inhibe el promotor de me, lo que podr\u00eda formar parte de una respuesta mitog\u00e9nica de las c\u00e9lulas a la insulina. En una fase m\u00e1s tard\u00eda la hormona induce la transcripci\u00f3n del gen, mediante la activaci\u00f3n de una ruta bioqu\u00edmica distinta de ras\/map quinasa que podr\u00eda  depender fosfatidilinositol 3-quinasa.  en esta respuesta tard\u00eda podr\u00eda participar sp1, cuya funcionalidad en este promotor hemos demostrado en c\u00e9lulas de \u00abdrosophila\u00bb sl-2.
