El modelo agrupa variables internas y externas. Entre las variables externas se encuentran aquellas del entorno publicitario (agencias, coste de los servicios y medios), variables del entorno general (nivel de desarrollo de los pa\u00edses, legislaci\u00f3n y cultura) y variables del mercado (tipo de consumidor, tama\u00f1o del mercado y nivel de competencia). Las variables internas utilizadas son el tipo de producto, el grado de centralizaci\u00f3n de las decisiones en la empresa, las actitudes de los directivos, el ciclo de vida del producto y el nivel de implicaci\u00f3n de la empresa en el mercado. para contrastar las diversas hip\u00f3tesis formuladas, se realiza una investigaci\u00f3n emp\u00edrica en una muestra de directores de exportaci\u00f3n
