Este modelo supone un veh\u00edculo de integraci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n geocient\u00edfica de tres aspectos medioambientales: paisaje, aguas superficiales y aguas subterr\u00e1neas; y puede usarse como m\u00e9todo de planificaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de vertederos a escala regional, subregional e incluso local, a trav\u00e9s de un cat\u00e1logo de \u00abescenarios naturales\u00bb de ubicaci\u00f3n de vertederos. La aplicaci\u00f3n de este modelo a las unidades geomorfol\u00f3gicas ha contribuido a evaluar su capacidad de diagn\u00f3stico ambiental como unidad homog\u00e9nea de
