El escalado se ha hecho en funci\u00f3n de los resultados obtenidos en cada campa\u00f1a y \u00e9stos han venido avalados por los propios cultivadores de la zona. El seguimiento ha comprendido par\u00e1metros fisicoqu\u00edmicos, microbiol\u00f3gicos y bioindicadores que han constatado la bondad de la metodolog\u00eda dise\u00f1ada. El incremento de los costes en un 8% sobre el precio actual del kg de compost, ocasionado por el riego con alpech\u00edn, se compensa con creces con el aumento de producci\u00f3n debido al acortamiento del compostaje en 1-2 d\u00edas en cada ciclo. La poblaci\u00f3n bacteriana, en general, y actinomic\u00e9tica, en particular, no se ha visto afectada negativamente por el uso de alpech\u00edn durante el proceso. Se ha comprobado la utilidad de emplear bioindicadores, tomados como elementos referenciales, para determinar la correcta evoluci\u00f3n del compostaje, de cara a la producci\u00f3n de champi\u00f1\u00f3n ( agaricus bisporus).
