Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se han investigado, desde un punto de vista reol\u00f3gico, las interacciones de disolventes de distinta naturaleza con el pol\u00edmero etil-celulosa,ec, que dan lugar a la formaci\u00f3n de sistemas bien diferentes. por una parte la ec en presencia de m-cresol constituye cristales l\u00edquidos liotr\u00f3picos y por otra parte, en presencia de disolventes de tipo \u00e9ster da lugar a geles termorreversibles. En la bibliografia no se ha encontrado un estudio reol\u00f3gico sistem\u00e1tico de ambos tipos de estructuras por lo que el objetivo de este trabajo ha sido el de realizar dicho analisis. El estudio reol\u00f3gico de los sistemas obtenidos ha permitido establecer lo siguiente:  1. Disoluciones liotr\u00f3picas: se presentan las primeras pruebas de la basculaci\u00f3n del vector director en el sistema semirrigido ec\/m-cresol, cuya flexibilidad, confirmada a partir de medidas de viscosidad es intermedia entre la que presenta el pol\u00edmero poli-p-fenilentereftalamida en \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico y el polimero hidroxipropil-celulosa en agua. Asimismo se ha demostrado el efecto de la formaci\u00f3n de la textura de polidominios, observada por primera vez en la disoluci\u00f3n ec\/m-cresol, ejerce en la relajaci\u00f3n de la mesofase.  2. Geles: considerando los resultados experimentales de medidas de viscoelasticidad din\u00e1mica de geles de ec en diversos di\u00e9steres, as\u00ed como la teoria de guenet para geles de pvc\/di\u00e9ster, se propone una interpretaci\u00f3n molecular de los mecanismos de formaci\u00f3n de la estructura tridimensional de la red.
