No obstante debido a la resistencia que ofrece la piel al paso de sustancias es necesario investigar procedimientos que permitan, temporalmente, incrementar su permeabilidad.  el trabajo realizado es una aportaci\u00f3n al estudio de los mecanismos que permitan explicar el diferente comportamiento de dos tensioactivos no i\u00f3nicos (span 20 y tween 20) asi como del azone, en relaci\u00f3n con su influencia en la penetraci\u00f3n in vitro, a trav\u00e9s de la piel, de diversos penetrantes(5-fluorouracilo, 2-feniletanol y 4-fenilbutanol) que, en conjunto, abarcan un amplio ambito de lipofilia(log poct de -0.95 a 2.23).  los resultados permiten deducir que el tween 20 act\u00faa como promotor del 5-fluorouracilo por incremento de su coeficiente de reparto en la piel. sin embargo el span 20, y el azone, act\u00faan como promotores de la penetraci\u00f3n de todos los compuestos ensayados a trav\u00e9s de un mecanismo de expansi\u00f3n de la estructura ordenada que forman los l\u00edpidos en los ensayos intercelulares del estrato c\u00f3rneo. Ello se deduce a partir de las interacciones qu estos promotores presentan con los l\u00edpidos constituyen de dicho estrato, interacciones que se definen a partir de las modificaciones que se observan en las isotermas presi\u00f3n superficial\/area por mol\u00e9cula de las monocapas lip\u00eddica cuando en ellas se incorporan los promotores que se estudian.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
