Carmen Serra Comas <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la presente tesis doctoral se han analizado diferentes aplicaciones sint\u00e9ticas de los nucle\u00f3sidos pirim\u00eddicos n-protegidos. En concreto, se ha bloqueado el nitr\u00f3geno im\u00eddico de la nucleobase con el fin de acceder a nucle\u00f3sidos dificiles de obtener por otras v\u00edas y de controlar la estereoqu\u00edmica de algunas reacciones propias de estos compuestos. El m\u00e1s efectivo de los grupos estudiados ha sido el grupo nitro. As\u00ed, este bloqueo ha permitido sintetizar compuestos hasta ahora in\u00e9idos en la literatura como derivados triflados de uridina estables,sulfatos c\u00edclicos derivados de la uridina y a-ep\u00f3xidos derivados de uridina estables. Adem\u00e1s, se ha controlado la estereoqu\u00edmica de diferentes reacciones consigui\u00e9ndose tanto compuestos de estereoquimica inusual (arabino, lixo y xilonucleosidos), como compuestos de eliminaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, el principal inconveniente de esta estrategia reside en la activaci\u00f3n que introduce el grupo nitro sobre el carbonilo de la posici\u00f3n 4 de la base nitrogenada que limita el tipo de nucle\u00f3filo que pueden utilizarse en estas reacciones siendo los \u00fanicos que funcionan adecuadamente los iones haluros (c1,br,i).
