Se muestra c\u00f3mo los c\u00e1lculos de las p\u00e9rdidas de energia y de las vidas medias son realmente muy semejantes si exceptuamos las diferencias en las propiedades din\u00e1micas de electrones e iones.  el cap\u00edtulo 2 presenta los resultados de nuestro estudio de las p\u00e9rdidas de energ\u00eda de iones en aislante.  los tres cap\u00edtulos restantes se ocupan de las vidas medias de electrones lentos en s\u00f3lidos. El capitulo 3 estudia el efecto que sobre las vidas medias tiene la gran densidad de estados asociada a las bandas d en metales nobles y ferromagn\u00e9ticos y que es responsable de la dependencia con el esp\u00edn de las vidas medias en \u00e9stos ultimos.  el capitulo 4 estudia el apantallamiento adicional que proporcionan los electrones d en metales nobles y que produce vidas medias m\u00e1s largas que las obtenidas para un gas de electrones libres debido al debilitamiento de la interacci\u00f3n.  finalmente el capitulo 5 se ocupa del efecto que la localizaci\u00f3n del estado inicial tiene sobre las vidas medias obteniendo que un electr\u00f3n vive tanto m\u00e1s cuanto m\u00e1s localizado se encuentre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
