Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta tesis, se ha caracterizado la interacci\u00f3n funcional entre la ferredoxina (fd) y la enzimas nir y gogat del alga eucariota chalnydomonas reinhardtii, mostrando la formaci\u00f3n de un complejo fd;nir de estequiometr\u00eda 1:1 y de dos complejos fd:gogat con este quiometr\u00eda 1:1 y 2:1.Los datos obtenidos implican la existencia de un \u00fanico sitio de uni\u00f3n a fd en nir mientras que gogat posee dos sitios de interacci\u00f3n a la prote\u00edna. Adem\u00f1\u00e1s se ha observado que el proceso de itneracci\u00f3n entre fd y gogat se ve favorecido en c\u00e9lulas crecidas en amonio o sometidas a carencia de nitr\u00f3geno correlacion\u00e1ndose conla mayor actividad de la enxima observda en cultivos bajo estas condiciones nutricionales.  se ha obtenido tambi\u00e9n, una estructura te\u00f3rica de la ferredoxina de c. Reinhardtii, en la que se meustra que est\u00e1 formada por un cuerpo central compuesto por 5 hojas plegadas b y una h\u00e9lice a. La existencia adem\u00e1s, de dos hojas plgadas b cortas, una h\u00e9lice a2, as\u00ed como una vuelta hlicoidal corta (a3), en el extremo carboxi-terminal de la prote\u00edna, la hace asemejarse m\u00e1s da la fd de hoa de espinaca que a la prote\u00edna de organismos procariotas. a su vez hemos trabajado con una serie de mutantes situados en las h\u00e9lices a1 y a3 para determinar regiones espec\u00edficas implicdas en el mecanismo de interacci\u00f3n con las enximas. La combinaci\u00f3n del c\u00e1lculo de potenciales superficiales sobre el modelo de estructura, as\u00ed como medidas de actividad enzm\u00e1tica, potenciales redox y estudios de itneracci\u00f3n de muestran la implicaci\u00f3n de los glut\u00e1micos 91 y 92 y de la regi\u00f3n que comprende a los amino\u00e1cidos asp\u00e1rico 25 y glut\u00e1micos 28 y 29 en la uni\u00f3n a las enzimas.  en el desarrollo de esta tesis tambi\u00e9n se ha llevado a cabo la clonaci\u00f3n de un cdna parcial (crfg-3) que codifica fd-gogat de c. Reinhardtii y que se encuentra como una \u00fanica copia en del genoma. Crfg-3 presenta una fse de lectura abierta de 847 amino\u00e1cidos.
